Chiropractic training takes between 4-5 years and requires that all chiropractors are trained in general diagnosis. This allows them not only to treat those with musculo-skeletal complaints, but also to recognise when chiropractic care is not suitable for a patient, referring them to other health professionals as appropriate. Sometimes patient care is best approached with combined care.
The Chiropractors Act of 1994 requires that all chiropractors are registered with the General Chiropractic Council, and undergo training as part of a rigorous Continuing Professional Development learning cycle.
All the chiropractors in Burnham are members of the British Chiropractic Association.
