There has been a chiropractic clinic at this location for over eleven years now. In July 2001 the clinic was taken over by the current principal Dr Martin Storr. Dr Verity Wills joined the practise in 2002.

Martin Storr MSc D.C. M.C.C.
Qualifications

Martin qualified as a chiropractor following a successful career in business. He trained at the internationally accredited Anglo European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth, and qualified in 1998 as an MSc.

Chiropractors are trained as primary health care practitioners and therefore are able to diagnose not only problems which require chiropractic intervention but also those which may require a traditional medical approach. In this event you will be referred appropriately. Some times a dual approach is required.

The primary chiropractic qualification involves five years of study including specialist areas of anatomy (the structure of the human body), biomechanics (the mechanics of human movement) and neurology (study of the nervous system).

Martin is a member of the College of Chiropractic, a body which organizes continuing professional development. He is registered with the General Chiropratic Council (the body which administers the Chiropractic Act 1994) and is a member of the British Chiropractic Association.

He also has a specilist qualification in "Sacro-Occipital technique", a technique that identifies the causes of spinal problems.

Verity Wills MSc D.C. M.C.C.
Qualifications

Verity also qualified at the Anglo European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth and has the same qualifications as Martin. She is currently studying for her advanced exam in Sacro-occipital technique.

Verity's infectious optimism and good nature makes her a particular hit with chilren and she has made a speciality of treatment of pregnant mothers and children at the clinic.
